I found this dresser last weekend at a neighborhood garage sale!! It turns out to be a Drexel! Great shape too! And the lady that was selling the dresser actually kept all of the original hardware too. So it was a great score for me! Even though all of the drawers were in great shape and worked perfectly the outside was peeling and in need of some TLC. So I got out my handy sander and got to work! Then I used Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in three colors: Curio, which was used on the top, sides and drawers. I watered it down quite a bit, and used it like a stain. Typewriter, which was used on the decorative parts near the top, bottom and sides. Linen was used on the accents lining the legs and drawers. I did some more sanding after all the paint was applied, and then applied Hemp Oil, and then sealed everything with a dark,
glaze wax. What a transformation…..don’t you agree?? Leave your thoughts below. Thanks!
